Baltimore underground veterans The Boy Blesst and Dame Capers return with “Muscle Memory,” a raw display of lyrical craftsmanship over a whimsical, drumless boom-bap backdrop produced by Grammy Award–winning producer StoicBeGood (known for work with Doechii). Representing Baltimore’s underground lineage, the duo—collectively known as The Reign, or CBMD (Capers & Blesst Move Different) deliver razor-sharp bars and veteran presence shaped by decades in the independent hip-hop circuit. The record channels the spirit of golden-era lyricism while pushing forward with a minimalist, cinematic soundscape that lets the rhymes breathe. Accompanied by a dope, word-scribed visualizer on YouTube, “Muscle Memory” captures the instinctive craft of two seasoned MCs operating purely on experience, chemistry, and raw skill. This is from their forthcoming, and first group project from the duo, entitled "The Brew". Set to release in the Summer of 2026.

This track feels like a energetic next-phase from his breakout album last year Worm Food. Over Fastcut’s punishing production, Nezzy’s flow is both a controlled detonation and a triumphant rallying cry, signaling that the raw, underground ethos that defined his previous work is now being refined into something even more potent and purposeful. Hip Hop is in good hands proving Nezzy isn’t just back this year—he’s leveled up.
JimmyMack arrives as more than a lyricist—he’s a movement. A master craftsman of words and rhythms, he blends golden-era boom bap with bold new-age nuance, creating music that honors the roots of hip-hop while ushering it into the now. Riding the wave of his viral, edgy single "D3VIL", JimmyMack continues his smooth swagger momentum with two dynamic new singles: “Gen X Party” and “Mogul”. These tracks serve as anthems for a generation that grew up on cassette tapes and now streams their way to success, capturing both nostalgia and progress in every bar.
Born in the Bronx—the sacred birthplace of hip-hop—JimmyMack’s musical foundation is steeped in the culture’s raw essence. By age seven, he was already enamored with the sound. A move to California at eleven added West Coast flavor to his East Coast roots, shaping a voice that’s equal parts rugged and refined. He soon co-founded the group K-Jam with childhood friend Adrian “Meta” Lowe, igniting his journey as a performer and storyteller. Even during his military years, JimmyMack never lost sight of his calling. Whether spinning records as a DJ in Germany or recording verses in Florida, music followed him like a second shadow. With an MBA in one hand and a microphone in the other, he merges sharp business acumen with his undeniable creative instinct. Since his 2019 debut single "OIA", JimmyMack has stayed consistent and compelling. His Method 2 My Madness EP (2020) offered deep introspection, while his genre-defining album In My Own Lane (2022) made it clear that he’s not just part of the industry—he’s building his own. Now, with “Gen X Party” rallying nostalgic fans and “Mogul” cementing his ambition, JimmyMack is writing a new chapter in the hip-hop legacy. Influenced by the greats—Dr. Dre, Wu-Tang Clan, Run-D.M.C., Grandmaster Flash, KRS-One, Biggie, LL Cool J, and Eminem—JimmyMack channels that lineage with a modern twist. His mission is to honor hip-hop culture, elevate the sound, and leave a lasting imprint as a generational voice and entrepreneurial powerhouse. Whether fans are streaming his latest drop, grabbing exclusive merch, or showing out at live shows, JimmyMack’s brand is an experience—vintage in vibe, futuristic in vision, and always rooted in truth.
