Inspired by the production of his 'spirit artist', Kanye west, Forin aims to use minimalism and complexity simultaneously in his work. After coming to the US in 2004 from India, Forin felt an instantaneous connection with hip-hop. He recalls listening to "Good Life" on his high school bus radio, and not comprehending what was being said. Though English is his second language, Forin was quickly able to learn after a year of taking ESL. Being dissatisfied with beats found online and through friends forced Forin to began his journey of learning production. Forin comes without any musical learning background but he will continue to prove music can be learned, no matter how complex, and that hip hop artists/producers should not feel confined or forced to follow trends as they are more capable and innovative than what others credit them to be. After a long hiatus and vigorously studying music, Forin Deep releases his debut project “Vertigo” in March of 2022. “Vertigo” is an attempt to incorporate various sub-genres to bring together the music into the rich culture of hip-hop. The self-produced project encompasses concepts of everyday life including human greed, violence, existentialism, and faith in a higher being, to bring back hope and revive reality-based music into hip-hop once again. 
Come Winter is a lo-fi inspired boom bap track by Australian artist Connor Jones. Connor floats effortlessly over producer bigcun's swing-drunk drums and lush samples to tell stories of hustling, interjected with meticulous wordplay and smooth-as-butter flows.
Connor Jones has been a mainstay in Australian hip-hop for over 10 years. Gathering a cult-like following with groups Velvet Sand & JERKSTORE., Connor is steadily dropping more solo tracks and riding the wave of Australia's newfound spot on the global hip-hop stage. |
