Lucky Seven is a 35 year old MC/producer from Buffalo, New York who I first started noticing after he laced what I personally believe is one of the mort underrated Conway the Machine singles ever: “Temple”. But he’s dropped a total 2 albums, a mixtape & 3 EPs since then before signing to Drumwork Music Group over the spring of this year. And now with only 8 dates left on the Love Will Get You Killed Tour, it’s only right for Lucky to prelude his upcoming debut on Con’s very own EMPIRE imprint with his 4th EP.
Meanwhile on “Metal Arm Tesuo”, we have Luck & Jae Skeese wickedly bragging about their extraordinary skills leading into “Kaneda Loves Kei” soulfully pays tribute to his lady. The song “Snoopy’s Penthouse” smoothly details the lavish lifestyle while the penultimate track “Playgrounds” has a more grimier sound with the help of Stu Bangas & Elcamino returning to help shoutout those who’ve been there since the beginning. “Goodbye to Your Life” ends with some strings & lyrics about getting the millions if you follow him.
Coming away from Lucky & the Laser Gun, it’s definitely a solid precursor to Lasertron Arcade. I think the anime concept is well executed, I fuck with the wide range of emotions throughout it’s 24 minute run & how Lucky brought in some fresh faces behind the boards for him to showcase his penmanship to new listeners.
Blaze Gee is back! After a short stint away from the music scene, the Massachusetts MC returns with his latest single “Count It Up”

Especially after his classic performance during the Swizz Beats & Timberland inspired “Verzuz” Blaze Gee’s new single is taking over the airwaves. With a recent debut on Shade 45 & BET Jams placements. There’s no telling whats next for this MC. Check out the official video below!
Surrounded by poverty, death and crime, the idea of becoming a successful rapper was the furthest thing from his mind. Growing up on the East Side of Buffalo, N.Y. - one of the poorest cities in the country - there wasn’t much of a local Hip-Hop scene. He relied on the radio for East Coast Hip-Hop, his mom for soulful music from the ‘70s and ‘80s, and his older brothers and sister for what’s hot. Living in Atlanta for the last two decades , the innovative sounds created there have influenced him too.Inspired by his sister, Keisha Plum, giving birth to and naming her daughter after him, he started considering a career in music. His music is autobiographical in nature, but also a reflection of the Black experience - our history, lifestyle and language. “Eskay’s home!” That’s what friends in Buffalo would say whenever he came back to visit from Atlanta. Eskay Home became symbolic of friendship and evolved into his stage name. There’s no question Eskay wants to inspire the lives that change the world.“I want to use my music as a platform to save lives. It’ll be dope to sell millions and have large tours and win a Grammy or two, but more important than any of those things is helping people get into positions to change their lives. I can’t do it all by myself - no. But maybe. Who knows?”
Video shot by : GenX Entertainment @genx_ent_ Directed by: @dtcross Featuring song "Henny" from upcoming soon to be released album by @mreskayhome "Pardon My Heart" Special shout outs to @keishaplum @cassobeats, Buffalo family and friends who came out to support and be a part of this video. This song is about memorializing lost loved ones. We all can relate to the sting of death whether by tragedy, the streets, or just plain and sudden death. Eskay Home pays tribute to those lives gone, by giving back love to his family, friends, and community. He has poured his heart and soul out into this track, and this album - which is sure to be a classic. More information on artist can be found www.eskayhome.com
The New York rapper Flee Lord—protégé of the late Prodigy from Mobb Deep and close associate of the Griselda gang—had a simple plan for increasing his buzz in 2019: outwork everyone else. He’s dropped no fewer than five albums since March, including Gets Greater Later, Ups and Downs with Phonk P, Later Is Now, the 38 Spesh collab Loyalty + Trust, and RocAmeriKKKa with Eto. As if all that’s not enough, he’s determined to deliver one more full-length before the year is out. “I’m trying to make so much more music [than anybody else], until I feel like no one can outdo me in the booth,” he says. “I respect every rapper and what they have done for the culture, but the one thing that my father always taught me was ‘Be the best at whatever you do.’ A lot of people been like, ‘Flee, you dropping too much.’ But I don’t give a fuck what anyone says. I’m just gonna keep putting music out, because this is all I do—this is all I have.” While Flee Lord’s sound is clearly influenced by his mentor Prodigy, he’s developed his own distinct voice and cadence. The way his exuberant adlibs punctuate his controlled flow creates a kind of call-and-response effect—his bouncy bars on “Lord Talk 2 (Intro)” and “Hoody Flee” are prime examples. While some rappers try to cram too many words between the snares, Flee leaves plenty of room for his punchlines to breathe. Witness “Realbarsbackpt2,” from Later Is Now: “Outwork everybody, we on shit/ ’Til my name and my gang up neon lit/ …I done been through with the stars/ Twist the big cigars/ Listening to Nas/ Putting ink in all my scars.” The way his rhymes rise and fall with the instrumentation is almost hypnotic. His affinity for sample-based, boom-bap beats harken back to hip-hop’s Golden Era. From the somber strings on “Both Views” to the menacing synths that power “44 Long,” Flee Lord’s music is just as comfortable in the present day as it would have been in 1994. And his relentless work ethic continues unabated. He has projects in the works with Grafh, DJ Shay, Vinny Idol, V Don, Pounds, and Big Ghost Ltd., ensuring he will be as omnipresent in the underground next year as he was in 2019—and he’ll keep on pressing, until he’s a household name.
