Tywan, CEO of The Cash Administration (better known as Cashmere) is an American Hip-hop Music Artist & Songwriter from Brooklyn, NY. After being crowned by The Source Magazine (in 2004) as “the artist leading the charge in bringing new life to NY hip-hop”(issue 79), he released his debut mixtape titled “The Proposal” hosted by Hot97 DJ Kay Slay in 2005. His following mixtape titled “Me & My Music” hosted by DJ Mister Cee was released in 2006 as he began to form The Cash Administration (TCA). Shortly after “The Proposal Pt II” mixtape hosted by DJ P Cutta was dropped in 2007 as well as “Nothing But The Freestyles” & “This Time Is For The Money” hosted by DJ E Nyce in 2008-2009. Then in 2009 he released a mixtape titled “Birds Flyin High” hosted by D Blake in preparation for his debut album “Take Me Away” which was released in 2011. Hard at work branding his company he is prepared to drop his sophomore album “Ready 2 Live” set to release on June 19th 2014. His resume consists of various features in classic Hiphop DVD’s such as “Come Up DVD”, “Smack DVD”, and “Real Talk TV”, etc. Among many features he has appeared on mixtapes by many prestigious DJ’s such as DJ Green Lantern, DJ WhooKid, DJ Envy, and many more. Adding to his many features you can find him on DJ Kay Slay debut and follow up album “Pain From The Game” & “Pain From The Game II”, and Joel Ortiz debut album “Brick Bodega" on the classic track “Brooklyn” featuring hip-hop legend Big Daddy Kane. He has also worked along side artists such as Bun B, Lil Boosie, WC, Stack Bundles, and many more. Tywan is an artist that has mastered the art of hip-hop in a way that we do not hear in hip-hop today. Compared to many he will always stand out. As a Brooklyn native he embraces the gutter trenches with a style and class that cant be ignored. His talent goes far beyond just hip-hop as he is an artist at heart, with one hell of a story, and lyrics so captivating its as if you are experiencing hip-hop for the very first time. |
