My name is Dexter Kelly. I’m a rapper/singer/songwriter from Pasadena CA. I grew up playing several instruments and writing poetry which lead me to start making music in high school and did it on the side through college. I played D1 football at the University of Oregon/ UTSA so couldn’t fully pursue music until I graduated in 2020. My new single/video “PIPE DOWN FREESTYLE” dropping January 4th tells a story of who I am and allows me to show off my bars and clever wordplay. I make different kinds of music but this song allows me to introduce myself as a rapper and the vision I have for my music career as one of the top rappers in Los Angles.
